...not with our in house cameraman behind the lens it wouldnt have...On wednesday our resident Spielberg took the night off from mooching around in the bushes at local notorious dogging hotspots to come and film you guys doing a different type of riding.
I think you'll agree the footage bears an uncanny resemblance to the famous Sasquatch footage of '67 (availablehere as a comparison) I think you'll see the similarities are plain to see - the shaky camera work, the mere fleeting glimpes through the trees of the subject matter..
Perhaps this was aimed at being a parody of said video, but somehow i think its all just a cruel coincidence.
Anyway heres our version of the bigfoot sightings of '67, or something..

A rag tag group of bikers turned out for last nights "introduction to dirt jumping".I was highly dubious about this particular night, a: wondering if anyone would turn up and b: if anyone did would it be about as much use trying to teach them to dirtjump as it would be trying to teach a Tortoise to fetch a stick.
But my fears were unfounded, and much fun was had.
I'd like to thank everyone who came firstly, everyone paid attention to my ramblings, took it in and had a go, a fine class.
I couldnt believe how much progress was made in a mere hour and a bit. There was air under everyones tyres left right and centre.
Only a few minor casualties, less than expected, but i didnt want to say anything until after the event...
Just glad everyone had a laugh, learnt something and there were no injuries.
Until next time.

It's raining men, hallelujuah...and one woman...and two blokes on a tandem.TT2 saw weather only fit for ducks, literally as they sat on corner number 4 quacking on the competitors, not quite Allez Allez..but its the thought that counts.
Roughly 2 minutes per lap seemed to be what this course adds to a time in the wet, and it was very wet.
New catagory this week too, Tandem. Tandem with with semi slicks with slipping gears to be precise.
In the end two non club members turned up after seeing the TT on the BC website and put down the fastest times - but remember its not a race against anyone but yourself.

I should mention that DJ training is weather dependent. If its raining and the jumps are soaking there will be a cunning change of plan, descent techniques at Wharncliffe, its about a half hour away straight up the M1.
Anyway, will keep you updated
