Thursday, June 28, 2007, 02:39 PM - Events
Mr Michael Fish of Science in Sport (as seen below pointing at a graph during one of his talks?) will be here on the 18th and 25th of July to talk about all thing sciency and sporty..

But most importantly there will be FREE, yes you read that right, FREE! samples for everyone to try.

I dont think he goes into Jillian McCeath depths of nutrition analysis, but he will be on hand with a powerpoint presentation..ooooooh...to try and help you all eat less pies and more energy inducing food.

Michael, yesterday.

Got Skillz?
Thursday, June 14, 2007, 11:21 AM - Announcements

Also looking at future events atm, skillz [sic] courses or something like that after the DJ evening went down so well.

So im asking what would y'all like to learn trail skills wise?

Is your bunny hopping technique so poor that ants duck as you fly overhead?
Want to learn how to ride north shore style skinnies without it ending up in a 'Scorpion Face Grind'.
Or hows about drop offs - you tell me..

So if people have something they'd like to learn, leave a comment in the box and i'll look into it.

A pattern emerges...
Thursday, June 14, 2007, 11:10 AM - Announcements
Now am i the only one to notice a trend emerging on a Time Trial Wednesday? The trend being it pisses it down.. The wednesdays inbetween are fine, but the time trials are wetter than an otters pocket without fail.

Anyway, the results are up on the results page, rather non ironically.

Turnout was good considering the weather and everyone was impressed. Plus you didnt leave the shop floor looking like a paddling pool - bonus.

Merida Demo Evening
Thursday, June 7, 2007, 01:01 PM - Events

Firstly a big thankyou to Jimmy and Chris for rolling out the Merida Demo rig here at Sherwood Pines.

They bought with them pretty much the entire range for everyone to prod, poke and take for a spin. From multi worlds winning Carbon Mission Team-D to the kids Dakar 620.

Personally I took the Mission 2000 V for a spin around the forest and was highly impressed with its pedalability, handling and the way it tracked the ground, if i were in the market for an all day bike, id certainly consider the Mission.
