We are pleased to announce a tie in with BodyWorks Massage for club members.

Chris currently charges £35 per session for a massage but will be offering a massive 29% discount for club members making as post ride massage only £25!

Plus, if youre competing at any of the big races this year and Chris is free, he is free. Yupp for any club or team members competing at an event he is at, Chris will give you a free quick fix 10 minute massage.

We're also looking at providing weekly or fortnightly sessions with him here at the shop.

With 2009 coming to a close, we look to 2010. A host of changes are planned for the running of the club; we are aiming to make things more interactive to ultimately benefit the members. In the next few weeks we will be holding an open meeting, forum, debate, whatever you want to call it, to hear your thoughts. So if you’re the type that get’s frustrated by not being heard, or if you have some ideas as to how the club can move forward, look out for the date of the meeting which will be decided in the next few days.

We are also going to plan a new route for the 2010 Time Trial course, this will be held off the Red Route due to problems encountered last year with trail traffic. Look out for planning/trail building dates soon.

Update - Once the snow is cleared a meeting will be held in the cafe one wednesday night

Next wed the 16th is the final race of the season. Not a time trial but a mass start, staggered race format the same as last year.

Kick off at 6.00pm

Prize giving will follow with free food available for all those who are either club members or have raced, a small charge of £2.50 will be made to those who want to attend but arent members or who havent raced.

Please remember to bring your race plates with you so you can get your free food.

Dont forget that this wednesday there is the coaching talk in the Cafe by the professional coach Alex Pattison who coaches team members Mick Powell and Danielle Rider.

He will be talking about everything from nutrition to training.

Kick off is around 6 to 6.30pm.

Can all winners of trophies from last year please return them to the shop.

Were having an extra timetrial in July, just for fun, a bit like MBUK have 13 copies a year, stick in a random Autumn edition 2 weeks after August comes out, why, i dont know. But i digress.

So were have a fun family time trial, no points, similar to the last TT of the year, where everyone sets off in a staggered time. 5 laps of the TT course for adults, 2 or 1 for the kids.

Food will be available, 1 burger or hot dog free for club members, £2 for non members and members thereafter, cooked fresh by Chef Thompson, soft drinks will be available.

Bring the kids, the wife, the dog, anyone.
