Race Report:

Update from Sundays National Trophy and Saturdays Notts and Derby

Saturdays event went well. Taking the win at another round of the notts and derby series.

Here I planned to stick in the bunch and wait till the right time came to take the win. After 4 laps I upped the pace to thin out the group of 5 leaders.

Pushing on I took myself away and gained a quick 15second gap. I continued on the pace and did just enough to keep away and take the win by a 10 second lead.

Sunday turned out a little wetter than expected for the 3rd round of the National Trophy series. Making it into the top 10 I was beginning to make headway on the riders in-front.

Taking into the last lap I made it into the top 7 and bringing back 5-6th quick. With half a lap to go I made a few minor mistakes and lost ground on the riders in front.

Knowing 8th wouldn’t catch me I cruised I to the finish and settled to finish 7th.
With my form getting stronger,  I look forward to take a step on the podium in upcoming events.
