Just a message to clarify the news reports about the reported fire at Sherwood Pines.

The fire is on the very outer limits of the forest near what regulars call the golf course, desert side and is no where near the public trails.

The car park, bike shop, cafe, Go Ape are unaffected and open as usual, the fire is now out and the fire brigade are making regular visits to ensure it stays that way.

Please do not bring BBQs, disposable BBQs or do anything that could potentially start a fire to the park.
