!!! UPDATE !!!
We are open and we plan on remaining open as long as we are allowed. However we have a number of things in place to reduce the risk to both visitors and staff.
We really need everyone to think, be respectful of those around them and care for strangers as much as we care for our friends and family.
If you have any of the symptoms of coronavirus, or have been in contact with anyone who has had those symptoms, please do not visit.
Exercise social distancing at all times, whether in the car park, visitor centre or forest, maintain a safe distance between all others. Respect visitors and staff alike by maintaining at least a 1.5m gap between yourself and others.
The cafe are operating a take out service only.
The number of visitors permitted within the cycle centre could be limited if we get busy and we will open our outside hire shed.
The shop, whilst remaining open, access will be restricted due to available space in the retail area. Please be patient with staff, they will do their best to help you – We are cleaning, sanitising and washing our hands throughout the day.
Our hire bikes are cleaned and sanitised after each use and there are complimentary nitrile gloves and hairnets in store for you to use when you hire a bike.
When out on the trails, ride within your abilities at all times. Do not take risks, wear a helmet. Do not be a burden on the NHS.
Come and enjoy the forest, your friends and family but please remember for a while we won’t be able to get as close as we could before. But we can still enjoy each other’s company and the forest is a great place to get away from it all – take your phone with you but don’t look at the news for a while.
Thank you for taking the time to read this public service announcement from Sherwood Pines Cycles 🙂 We want to see you out and about for as long as we’re allowed.
We can all beat this together. Keep trying, stay safe and look after each other.
